Meeting of the Management Center on progress control of the project execution “International Transit Corridor “Western Europe–Western China” on the territory of Kyzylorda region was held presided by A. Kusainov, Minister of Transport and Communications.
The leaders of the contract and subcontract institutions and companies, PMC and Supervision Construction Consultants took part in it.
Opening this meeting, the Head of the Ministry stressed the importance of the project “Western Europe – Western China” for Kazakhstan economy. He also continued that special attention must be paid to the matters of the maximum attraction of local personnel, equipment and road-building materials during this project execution for implementation of Nursultan Nazarbayev’s instructions, President of Kazakhstan.
Zamir Saginov, Chairman of the Committee of Automobile Roads, made a report on the work progress in Kyzylorda region where the construction works had already started.
The reports of four Contractors JSC “Salini Construttori S.p.A.”, JSC “Impresa S.p.A.”, JSC “Todini Construttori Generali S.p.A.” and “JV Akkord Okan” Ltd were heard about minutes’ instruction execution.
As the result of this information Abelgazi Kusainov entrusted to take effective measures for efficient and absolute schedule execution and provide transition to the two-shift regime of works.
