On October 28, 2011, during his working trip to Aktobe Oblast, Berik Kamaliev, Minister of Transport and Communications of the RK, familiarized with the progress of construction works for the road section of the highway “Aktobe – Martuk – Border of RF”.

On that day the Head of Transport Department conducted the meeting with administrators of lower organizations, Contractors and Subcontractors.
Among the discussed matters there are the problems, connected with implementation of the Project “Reconstruction of the highway “Aktobe-Martuk-Border of RF (to Orenburg)” km 0-102, included into International Transit Corridor “Western Europe-Western China”.

The matter has been also considered regarding progress of reconstruction of the highway and artificial structures: bridges, culverts (Main Contractor – Branch of Joint-Stock Company “Cengiz Insaat Sanayi Ve Ticaret A.Sh.” (Turkey), Subcontractor – “Ivrus” LLP). The reports have been heard of the company “MAS-TAK” “About progress of reconstruction for Road Exploitation Segment in Aktobe city and Road Exploitation Point in Martuk village”, as well as of the company «EGIS International», carrying out the control for Construction Supervision.

Based on the results of the meeting, the Head of Transport Department, Berik Kamaliev, made a number of instructions. Aktobe Regional Department for Roads has been instructed to provide control for work of the construction organization, involved in reconstruction of road sections for the highways of republican importance, as well as to ensure control for maintenance of road network of republican importance in Aktobe Oblast in winter by the Main Contractors at the objects and maintenance organization – AOB RGI “Kazakhavtodor”.

The Main Contractor – branch of the joint-stock company “Cengiz Insaat Sanayi Ve Ticaret A.Sh.”, engaged in reconstruction of the highway “Aktobe – Martuk – border of RF (to Orenburg)”, has been instructed to provide disbursement of funds in 2011 for 8 400 million tenge and execution of planned quantities, in accordance with the approved time schedule, arranging 40 km of binding course; to ensure readiness of the object for work in winter with safe and systematic flow of traffic; to intensify work for procurement of Road-Building Materials and products in volume and quantities, required for work during construction period of 2012.

Company «EGIS International», carrying out control for Construction Supervision, has been instructed to ensure the work of the Main Contractor for execution of planned works for the current year, as well as to intensify control for technology of works and quality of the materials and products, applied for object.
