In Kazakhstan, more than 100 road companies present the recent achievements in the field of road construction, repair and maintenance of roads. The Kazavtodor - KazTraffic-201 International Exhibition has opened in the capital.

The exhibition has been opened by the Vice Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Berik Kamaliev. Welcoming the participants and guests of Kazavtodor - KazTraffic-2019, he noted that the development and improvement of the road network of Kazakhstan is one of the priority Government’s tasks implemented by the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development.

“Kazakhstan pays great attention to the development of the road sector. Today we have about 600 km of toll roads; we are introducing new systems and structures of the road pavement, anti-aging technologies of asphalt-concrete mixes. Today, Kazakhstani and foreign companies have demonstrated new technologies, new ideas”, Berik Kamaliev emphasized.

The exhibition traditionally presents the contemporary scientific and technical developments and products of more than 100 leading companies of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Belarus, Ukraine, Russia, USA, Germany, Turkey, and China. So, you can get acquainted with road laboratories, forklifts, snow removal machinery and other equipment.

One of the main tasks of the CIS Intergovernmental Council of Road Workers is the introduction of new materials, technologies, laboratories, and equipment in the road sector. Kazavtodor - KazTraffic exhibition helps us to do this. Road specialists regularly meet at the exhibition site and discuss problems, and the solutions as well, said Buri Karimov, Head of the Secretariat of the CIS Intergovernmental Council of Road Workers

International scientific-practical conference "Innovative Approaches in Road Construction: Prospects and Development" has been organized within the framework of the exhibition. The conference addresses a wide range of issues related to innovation, quality, maintenance, safety and development of roads. Presentations are made by representatives of well-known companies from the USA, Germany, France, Russia and Kazakhstan. In particular, Kazakhstan presented to the visitors the recent achievements of the Kazakhstan Road Research Institute, which celebrated its 60th anniversary this year, as well as the work of the National Center for Quality of Road Assets, established in 2019. In addition, NC KazAutoZhol brought up the points of design, construction, reconstruction and maintenance of roads.

The Kazavtodor-KazTraffic-2019 exhibition is held in the capital for the 16th time and has become a dialogue platform for experts in the road sector not only in Kazakhstan, but also in other countries.
