Active process of development of roadside service niche along the local section of the "Western Europe - Western China" international transport corridor is being carried out in Kyzylorda region, BNews.kz correspondent reports.

"Our management monitored the roadside service along the highway "Western Europe - Western China", - said Head of regional business and tourism Miras Tulebayev. -  33 points for the placement of facilities were defined. The analysis showed that today 32 favcilities found their investors, out of which seven facilities already operate, there were invested more than two billion tenge and created 64 jobs. Construction and installation works started at ten facilities, where the total investment amounted to 1 billion 892 million tenge".

Reconstruction of the "Western Europe - Western China" transport corridor has given a new impetus for attraction of tourists to travel to the space complex "Baikonur". As reported by regional akimat, here the work is being carried out jointly with the Russian side. So, on the basis of competitive selection, conducted by the Russian Space Agency, on presentation of Kyzylorda oblast akimat and Kazakhstan Tourist Association 7 Kazakh tour operators have been selected, that will have the right to organize tourist trips to "Baikonur" complex.

According to the regional department of entrepreneurship and tourism, there is one more project deserving attention under the development of tourism industry in the area. A memorandum of cooperation was signed with the Belgian company «Caspian Services», which is planning to organize in the Aral Sea region rally and cycling tour, as well as "Turan-Express" LLP plans to form a tourist train, the so-called "hotel on wheels" from "Khorgos - Almaty - Taraz - Shymkent - Turkestan - Kyzylorda - Baikonur with a visit to the capital of Kazakhstan of Astana".
