At the moment, the threat of road washout is removed".
More than 80 employees of Akimat of Zhambyl district and region, branch of RSE Kazavtodor, police officers, task force, SE “OSO” and SE “SPiASR” of Emergency department of Zhambyl region, headed by Bagdat Danilov, Colonel of emergency Department, took part in bank protection works. 25 pieces of equipment were involved.
For safe work, traffic was blocked at the section of the Western Europe-Western China road km 510-521. Movement of transport is carried out on the old bypass road.

To reduce water in the river, the discharge from the Ters-Aschibulak reservoir was reduced by 10 cubic/sec. The task force of the Emergency Situations department and the Emergency Situations Board of the Taraz city went to the place" explained in the Emergency Department of the region.
The emergency department of the Zhambyl region announced a storm warning due to the high snow cover and continuing rainfall in the Talas Alatau Mountains and the Ugam Ridge. These days, there is a danger of avalanches, and it is not recommended to reach the steep snow-covered slopes because of the possible provocation of avalanches.
