Turkish compaies in the JV «Dogus & Gulsan» under Lot 1 km 0-50 started works in November 2013, and under Lot 2 km 50-111,7 it commenced works in October 2014. «Donsung/Dongmyeong/ «Zhol-Sapa» LLP (South Korea/Kazakhstan) is the Engineer under both sections.
As of 22 September 2015 under Lot 1 with the length of 50 km the Contractor performed 50% of earthworks, subbase– 52 %, CSSCM base – 50%, bridges – 30 is being implemented out of total quantity of 34, culverts – 54 is under construction out of total quantity 120as per Contract, cement-concrete pavement is performed at 5,78 km out of planned 8 km for 2015.
Within Lot 2 with the length of 61,7 km in pecentage the Contractor has implemented earthworks for 49,5%, subbase – 85,4%, base course – 68,3 %, cementconcrete pavement – 67,1 % and bridges, overpasses, interchanges – 0%.
Concerning equipment and machinary mobilization the requirement for 2015 was satisfied and both own and Subcontractor’s equipment were involved in the project implementation.
In lot 1, 9 Subcontractors have been involved for performance of work under earthworks, bridges and overpasses, culverts, relocation of PTL. Overall 561 people are working in this section, including 66 foreign and 495 local staff.
There is a delay under work program in both sections. On first section mainly there is a delay under earthworks volume, and in the second sections delay under bridge construction. According to the Engineer in order to overcome the delay it is required to organise two shift works, accelerate the work pace and to involve qualified specialists under bridge construction.
