TRAVEL TIME HALVES FOR LOCAL POPULATION ALONG UZYNAGASH-OTAR ROAD

The road runs through the territory of Almaty and Zhambyl oblasts. After reconstruction, technical characteristics of the road will include four lanes instead of existing two. The total length of the road section is 96 km where 80 km are in Almaty oblast.

Currently, Bridges, Culverts, a Traffic Interchange, covered bus stops and 2 rest areas are being constructed.

The traffic is planned to open on 16 km in Zhambyl oblast by the end of this year.

Totally, about 760 nos. of Personnel are involved in the reconstruction and 360 nos. of Road Equipment have been mobilized.
