- Good afternoon! Every year I and my family go for a holiday to the health resort “Saryagash” in South-Kazakhstan Oblast. Therefore, last summer I faced the problem, that diversion road, located in the area Kordai-Merke, is beneath criticism. Having arrived to Almaty, I had to repair undercarriage of my car. I would like to show my displeasure with the quality of pavement of the above diversion road. One can say that it is practically absent. I am planning a holiday in this health resort in the current year.
Based on the above, I would like you to answer my questions and appeal, as follows.
1. Why was the quality of the diversion road pavement not taken for control by relevant agencies?
2. I would like you to provide the detailed (scheme) information about planned diversions/ramps as per its status for the beginning of August 2011, informing at what road sections a new pavement will be available, and where it will not. I am concerned in the information about overall way from Almaty to Saryagash.

Dear Talgat. For your question, regarding the road condition and provision of runway from Almaty city to the health resort Saryagash, we inform you about the following.

Traffic will be carried out along the existing highway at the section from Almaty city to Kordai village.

Reconstruction of the road section is executed for the second technical category with two lanes between settlements Kordai and Kainar (km 210-262), traffic will be as follows. Traffic will be carried out along diversion road at the section from km 219 to km 239. For the rest of the sections the traffic will be carried out along new pavement and along existing road.       

is not thoroughfare for transit transport at the section Kainar-Oital (km 262-353), which is connected with the works executed for road reconstruction of the first category with 4 lanes. Traffic will be carried out along by-pass route Kainar-Shu-Oital: along the highways Shu - Blagoveshchenka (0-56 km) and Shu - Merke (7-97 km). 

Reconstruction works are executed for the first category with 4 lanes at the section Oital – border of South-Kazakhstan Oblast, and traffic will be carried out along new pavement and along existing road. Traffic will be carried out along diversion roads at the sections for construction of bridges, overpasses, culverts, as well as at the sections, where road alignment is executed. 

Further traffic will be carried out along the existing roads from the border of the region to the health resort “Saryagash”.
