Question №445
Dear Road Engineer! Could you please answer the following questions:
1. Why in some sections of this road, especially in South Kazakhstan region, such as km 2187-2198, are installed the signs with speed limit 40 km/h if there are no signs of any road repair, road service personnel, road construction equipment? In Zhambyl region the same signs are met rarely and only where there are real road repair works are conducted.
2. Why does this highway pass through settlements, especially in South Kazakhstan region, where the number of them is a lot? Because of this the speed is significantly reduced, and travel time is extended. Travelling through the bypass would give all benefits to highway
3. Why do we often meet cattle on this road along the whole length in the Republic of Kazakhstan? This reduces the speed and increases the risk of collision for the drivers. Will cattle passes and guardrails be stipulated?
